Download Secure Browsers

Schools must install secure browsers on all computers to be used for HSA Online testing. Note to Technology Coordinators: The secure browsers available here are the final versions and must be used for spring 2010 online field testing. Feedback on functionality and suggested improvements for future versions is welcome and can be sent to the HSA Help Desk at hsahelpdesk@air.org.

Click the tabs below to download the correct secure browser for your operating system. The instructions on this page are for browser installation on individual machines. For assistance with the installation, please contact the Help Desk at 1-866-648-3712 or hsahelpdesk@air.org.

Download the Windows Browser:

Note: If you downloaded the secure browser before January 25, 2010, the browser will not load unless the Task Manager and Fast User Switching functions are disabled. The secure browser now available here does not require that these functions be disabled. However, the policy of the Hawaii Department of Education is that if a student can access multiple user accounts from a single computer, the Fast User Switching function must be disabled. For instructions on how to disable Fast User Switching, click here.
